Happy Friday! I hope your week is running smoothly because the weekend is almost here! The leather jacket is a must have for its rugged vibe and easy comfort. I can't seem to stir away from my leather jacket lately. This time I styled it with a super soft Recycled Karma top from Urban Outfitters that says "Believe in the Unknown". This quote reminds me to have an open mind and a positive attitude because there is still so much to learn in life let alone on earth. I decided to wear one of my favorite pairs of jeans, the Rally Cargo skinny jeans from rag + bone! They have six awesome pockets, leather panels that curve at the calf (That are like nothing I've seen before!), and seams outline the knees giving a tailored fit. Think of them as your modern day cargo pants, which go perfect with the Classic Newbury Booties. There's nothing better than a sleek pair of aviators to top off this rocking look! Fall is all about it getting colder, windier and darker sooner. This is the perfect weather for a trench coat, it keeps you warm and looks stylish buttoned or unbuttoned. Paired with rag & bone jeans and a crew neck, a simple touch that still is sophisticated. A statement necklace stands out against this simple backdrop. You guys know how much I love cameos and this green one is not the exception. To top it off a beautifully pebbled leather Dooney and Bourke handbag. Fall will be gone before you know it, go look at the colors on a walk with someone! Making sure to keep warm with your favorite hot drink of the season, I cannot get enough vanilla lattes! xoxo, Your Everyday Girl Trench: Burberry Top: rag & bone Jeans: rag & bone Bag: Dooney and Bourke Cameo: Vintage
T H E C L A S S I CIf your style is all over the place as is mine, then I know you also like to be classically chic at times, this could be solved with a classic red and black color combination. I love a button up paired with a skater skirt because it says I am here to have fun but I mean business. The pin stripes add just the right vibe of menswear complemented with a skater skirt to keep it girly. I love this skirt because it is different from my other skater skirts, the small pleats add lots of volume to swirl around. In my opinion this is a perfect combination for any silhouette. The accessories bring this look to life with the vintage Coach mini bucket bag and polka dot socks with Newbury ankle booties. I love that the leather here adds two different textures; one soft and the other strong and rugged. One of the most important things to remember this summer is to protect the skin you are in. Aviators block the sun, but there is nothing better than a sun hat to protect your skin from burning while taking a walk in the town. Not only is the hat keeping my skin safe but it really tops off this look with an edgy feel. I’m not going to lie, I feel like I just walked out of the set of American Horror Story. Keep your eyes peeled for their NEW ARRIVALS and our further collaborations. -T H E P U R S U I T O F E X C E L L E N C E- Knowing that summer is right around the corner is quite exciting, but I must admit I am not looking forward to those excruciating hot days. Spring is my favorite season for two reasons; flowers bloom and the weather is just right neither hot nor too chilly. This weather calls for a nice pair of jeans and a cute top. I am a fan of the peplum as I have styled a leather one a few months ago on Excellence in Numbers. This peplum is a perfect change for spring and summer since it is strapless and its lace detail. For a lean look pair it with a dark wash super skinny jean and a comfortable pair of pumps. I chose bold cameo earrings and stacked up a few rings for just a little shine needed with this simple look. This is great if you are working a shift and plan on getting with the girls afterwards. I had a very busy weekend working tons, thankfully I have next weekend off and will be enjoying the great outdoors! How was your weekend?
